Wee Run Events - Terms and Conditions
I can no longer run the race – can I have a refund?
Your entry fee is invested into the cost of putting on the event with the fees covering, suppliers, first aiders, venue fees and administration costs.
The entry fee is non-refundable, however we do allow you to defer your entry to the following year – one time only - you must give 4 weeks prior to the race date to allow for deferral.
Your entry IS transferable to another person, you must contact ben@weerunevents.co.uk and provide YOUR information and the person you are transferring to (name, email address) NO LATER than 4 weeks before the race.
When will I get registration details?
We send out registration information BY EMAIL approximately 2 weeks before the event. This is to allow for last minute changes and also to make sure it doesn’t get lost in your inbox.
If you haven’t received any registration details 7 days before the event please contact ben@weerunevents.co.uk
I bought my place but didn’t get a confirmation email?
If you haven’t received your confirmation email, please check in your spam/junk folder. Please make sure the email address you used to sign-up is correct. You can check this by logging back into Race-Entry.store/race
I have signed my kids up to the junior race can I run with them?
Absolutely! We would only expect junior runners to run alone if they are confident enough and able enough to do so. Adults can run with their kids – we just ask that you respect other runners and support your kids, whilst not getting in the way of other runners. Only the kids who are going to run need to buy a junior race. Adults will not get a medal/souvenir, only the children.
What is the age range for Juniors?
Kids aged 6-16 can run the junior races.
My kids regularly run ‘big’ park run – can they do the 5km?
Only 12 years old and up (on the day of the race) will be allowed to run a 5km. This rule is UK Athletics 141S5. Any runners younger than 12 attempting the 5km will be asked to stop – as our insurance does not cover them. Safety first! We reserve the right to ask for identification/proof of age for any ‘young looking’ runners.

You must be AT LEAST 17 to run a 10km or Half Marathon on the day of the race. Any runners younger than 17 attempting a 10km or Half Marathon will be asked to stop – as our insurance does not cover them. Safety first!
